Welcome to our classroom website!
Thank you for stopping by! At Global Communications Academy we strive to develop the IB Learner Profile by creating inquiring and internationally minded students! This site has been designed to help my students to research, socialize, communicate, think, and use self-management during the school day as well as at home. Parents this website has been designed for you to keep you informed of the amazing things that are happening in the classroom! Please visit the links above to familiarize yourself with the expectations in the classroom, and to see first hand what we will be working on this year!
Meet Ms. Wright!
I am VERY excited to get to know all of my students! I would like to share a bit about myself. This will be my third year teaching Second Grade at Global Communications Academy! I graduated in 2009 from Eastern Connecticut State University with a B.S in Elementary Education and a B.A in English. In 2012 I graduated from the University of Saint Joseph with a M.S in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Reading and Language Arts. I LOVE every minute that I get to work with my fantastic Second Graders. Aside from teaching I love to read, and to watch movies! My favorite book is Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (I'm sure we'll read it at LEAST once this year!) I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE chocolate, and getting to go outside for Recess. You will also hear a lot about my dog, Camille. She is awesome! Let's learn a lot and have a fantastic year!
